My cousin Lisa is Reservations Manager at the Staybridge Suites in Liverpool, at the beginning of September she sent me a text asking if I would come along to her coffee morning at work, I said I would of course come along and also help her spread the word.

Having a Coffee Morning is the perfect chance to catch up over a cuppa, enjoy some gorgeous treats and help Macmillan be there for people facing cancer. Its a huge event that happens every year, business's and home makers all over the UK have a Coffee Morning at the same time on the same date and all proceeds go to Macmillan Cancer Care.

We were also joined on the day by Big Brother Star Mark Byron who was filming for The Guide which is shown on Bay TV

A word from Macmillan.. "There are now 2.5 million people in the UK living with cancer. By 2030, it will be 4 million people, and we want to be there for them all. One in three of us will get cancer, and it will be one of the toughest things we’ll ever have to face. Our goal is to make sure no one faces cancer alone. We provide medical, emotional, practical and financial support, as well as campaigning for better cancer care. And because cancer affects more than just those facing it, we’re there for friends and family too. We are Macmillan."

Mark brought his friend Sarah Greenwood also a BB star and we had a good giggle about the whole Big Brother experience.

Worn By Us founder Nicola Gleave popped in for a cuppa with her friend and won nearly every prize in the raffle.

Ryan Mira flew in from Benidorm especially, he didn't get home until 1am... he brought the gorgeous Mel Reeves with him and we were truly humbled when Stu and Denise Fergus came along to show their support.
